Edgar ‘Edge’ Quintanilla
Edgar ‘Edge’ Quintanilla is a learning experience designer and connected learning advocate focused on closing the access and opportunity gap for underrepresented/underserved communities in cultural institutions and digital spaces. Edge currently manages the digital footprint for education initiatives at the Chicago Architecture Center – a non-profit inspiring young people to achieve their potential through the discovery of architecture, engineering and design. The portfolio of programs under Edge’s care includes DiscoverDesign.org – CAC’s online design education platform, developing and hosting national competitions that give young people the chance to make their work public, and CAC’s technology integration strategy for youth programming in the ArcelorMittal Design Studio – CAC’s space for teaching, learning, and exploring the built environment. Edge received his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases on the Humanities, Music Composition, and Marketing at the University of Central Florida and most recently earned a Full-Stack Web Developer Certification from Northwestern University School of Professional Studies.
