Connected Learning Summit 2019

University of California, Irvine

Oct. 2, 2019  Pre-conference | Oct. 3-5, 2019  Main Event

The poster session is scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2019, from 5:00-6:00 PM at the Connected Learning Summit. All posters are displayed at the University of California, Irvine in a single, one-hour session. Presenters must be on hand with their poster during the session. Please check in at the registration desk at 4:00 PM on October 4, 2019.

By facilitating informal discussions between presenters and their audience, poster sessions provide a more intimate forum for exchange. Ideally, a well-constructed poster will be self-explanatory and free you from answering obvious questions so that you are available to supplement and discuss particular points of interest. Successful poster presentations are those that achieve both coverage and clarity.

How do I prepare?

Size – Poster size: 36″ (high) x 48” (wide).

Arrangement – This standard sized poster will be displayed on a tripod floor easel. If you have paper/fabric posters, please make sure to bring a mounting surface and fasteners to attach them to. The easels do not provide any surface for mounting; they are simply provided for display.

Printing – Please make arrangements prior to the event to print the posters. Note that there is a FedEx Office/Kinkos Irvine located across the street from UC Irvine at 4187 Campus Dr., Suite M170, Irvine, CA 92612.

Shipping – Deliveries of posters or any other materials are NOT accepted at the UC Irvine Student Center.

How and when do I set up?

  • Easels will be available at 4:00 PM.
  • Stop by the registration desk at 4:00 PM so you can be directed to your easel.
  • The Poster session will take place at the UC Irvine Student Center (Location TBD).
  • Please note that your poster will need to have a hard back. The easel does not support cloth.
